Stressing out over the day-to-day demands associated with caring for a loved one living with Alzheimer’s. Trying to balance your career, kids, errands, and a parent or loved one with Alzheimer's Disease begins to take a toll on your own physical and emotional health. Allow us to provide the specialized non-medical Alzheimer’s Disease Care your loved one needs.
You can't be everything to everyone so let us use our expertise to provide the care and comfort your parent, spouse or loved one needs for an improved quality of life.
It is not realistic for most families to be able to pick up and move near their loved ones needing care. Often times the loved ones needing assistance cannot be moved in with family members.
Our in-home services allow our Alzheimer’s disease patients to continue their day-to-day routines in familiar surroundings which will reassure a sense of safety and meaning to their days. Our compassionate caretakers are well trained and strategically selected to effectively handle the unique challenges of Alzheimer’s disease patients.
Waverly Alzheimer’s Care Includes, but is not limited to:
- Respite for caregiver
- Assisting patient’s personal grooming and hygiene;
- Give full or partial baths;
- Provide socialization
- Assist patient in walking and exercising;
- Prepare and serve simple meals according to patient’s specific dietary needs;
- Perform household tasks essential to patient’s health, such as;

- Making and changing the bed
- Keeping patient’s house and/or room neat and clean
- Tidy up bathroom and kitchen after use.
- Other household tasks can be discussed as needed.
- Assist with administering medication ordered by physician.
- Follow orders and keep simple records as instructed by the physician and family.
- Accompany the patient to the physician's office or medical facility when necessary.
Waverly recognizes the importance of understanding and supporting those living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia illnesses. We will work with families and loved ones to maintain comfortable and safe environments for our patients, while establishing trusting relationships and techniques to maximize independence for as long as possible.

We have put together an experienced team that brings thoughtful, caring, and dedicated service to each and every client from a few hours a week respite to full time 24 hours a day, seven days a week care.
